Vision
My vision with the work I offer is to support you to reset and upgrade energy levels of the
Body, Mind and Soul.
I aim to honor all modalities that I work with where they came from, and work with integrity and intent to rebalance, harmonize and integrate your systems. I honor and respect the Wisdom keepers and cultures where these modalities are rooted in and I am grateful for the knowledge that was passed on with permission and clear intention. Yogic philosophies and practices from India, Hawaiian wisdom, knowledge and healing techniques from the Pacific Islanders of Hawaii, Sacred Cacao teachings from the Bribri and Cabecar of Talamanca Costa Rica. I thank and honor all my teachers, their teachings and their teachers. I feel extremely blessed to have found incredible guidance along my path and I am dedicated to be of service for the evolution at this time on Earth.
My work is fueled by the wish to raise awareness so we can radically love ourselves, live from the heart in harmony with nature and everyone around us and find inner peace.
All that I met and learned from along the way I call now my Ohana
In Hawaii the word Ohana means family. But not only our blood related family. Ohana are those that we feel inspired by, supported by, loved by. We choose our own family as we move forward through this life and through the world. Everyone that touches our heart in one way or another becomes our extended family. Our Ohana, our Chosen Family.

A little more about me…
My name is Iris (43) and I have always had deep interest for the psyche of all living beings. Therefor I went to study and completed a MsC in Social Psychology and a MsC in Social Sciences. In my early twenties I found psychotherapies to only scratch the surface and started my path in the Eastern practices of meditation and yoga. Soon I found out this was what helped me and adopted these holistic practices that I had been missing from the Western approaches.
When I first visited Hawaii in 2016 to live and work at a meditation and yoga community for two months, the energy of the volcanic Big Island opened my heart and I decided to become a Yoga teacher. The Spirit of Aloha supported me greatly and I encounterd Plant Teachers the next year, first Cacao and then other rainbow alliance medicines. This expanded my awareness in many ways and I’ve been learning and expanding through a seven year cycle to become ready to assist and facilitate in ceremonies as well.
Through multiple disciplines of meditation, yoga and other cultural shamanic (animistic: working with the interconnectiveness of all things) practisces over the past 15 years I have learned the psyche and body in connection with Spirit are ment to work together as ONE. To listen, to feel and to harmonize is what helps us Remember ‘who we truly are’ and ‘what we are here for at this time’.
As a yoga teacher my main yoga practise and teachings have been Hot Hatha 26x2 sequence, Vinyasa and Yin yoga. I’m also certified for Yoga therapy, as an approach for people with mental inbalance. All these practices have been a big part of my own healing journey and this is why sharing my passion for these practises has become my life’s purpose. I focus on that you are getting to know your own body and the universe within you, as well as to support you to open up the flow of life energy and heal stored emotional trauma's.
Besides teaching yoga classes, as a RYT-500 certified yoga teacher since 2016, together with my partner Eli I have been training students to become yoga teachers since 2020.
I believe yoga, working with energy healing techniques, learning to listen to and tune in with to nature, are the ways to deepen our sense of being and to become more grounded and open. This way we can evolve, be there for others and live a more fulfilling life, with clarity, harmony and ease.
I love to travel, I love to dance, I love my family and friends, I love my cat, I feel a deep connection to the Hawaiian islands, I connect to the ocean on a regular basis and right now I’m located with my partner and cat at the Carribean coast of Costa Rica.
